Punch Locomotive Kit
IP Engineering have felt for some time that a bolt-together locomotive kit would find a ready market, both for those for whom kit building is a yet-to-be-discovered pleasure, and for those who would like to share our hobby with younger members of the family. Made mainly from pre-fabricated steel with the body already spot welded together. PUNCH requires only minimal assemble with the main components simply bolted into place. Some white metal parts are also included which need to be bonded in situ. The chassis is supplied ready-built and the loco powered by two AA batteries. PUNCH is designed so that all components can be prepared and painted prior to assembly, and a kit so treated would make an ideal present for an older child. Weighing a substantial 0.8 kilos and measuring around 7in. Long, PUNCH looks and feels like a ‘proper’ locomotive.
